We offer a variety of exciting workshops throughout the year.

Hands-on Nature and Sensory Experience

If you’re in need of an escape from everyday life, join Stuart ‘The Wildman’ Mabbutt of Wildman Environmental Learning and William Mankelow of Shot @ An Angle for a nature workshop with a difference. Stuart was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and, as a way of managing his pain, he developed a unique way of connecting with nature which utilises the five main senses.

The Hands-on Nature and Sensory Experience introduces this special way of experiencing our natural environment and exploring our responses to landscapes, and the workshop on 15th October focuses on managing work-based stress. It will include various activities such as:

– 360 degree awareness
– Peripheral sensing
– Blindfold trust exercises
– Scavenger hunt with reduced hearing
– Creative arts
– Macro photography
– Witnessing birdsong through soundwaves

Date: 15th October – 13:30-15:30

Adults £22 (online), £25 (at the door)
Couple £40
Concession £15
Refunds are provided if at least 48 hours notice is given prior to the event.
